While hunting over our guide dogs at Pheasant Ridge, you will be transported into the field and we will personally guide you through your hunt. Guests are also welcome to hunt over their own gun dogs. In this case, you will be transported into the field and directed to your hunting area. We will check on you periodically to releave you of your game and to offer you refreshment. Our clubhouse as well as our mule 4x4 are always well stocked with complimetary water and soda for our guests and their dogs. 

Other hunters will be a rarity and you will experience utmost privacy throughout your hunt. 

You will never feel rushed at Pheasant Ridge. We encourage you to take time working your dog and enjoying our varied landscape.

After the hunt, relax in the clubhouse and tell stories of the hunt or hunts past. Our morning hunts begin at ten AM and our afternoon hunts begin at one thirty PM. Start times can be adjusted to meet your scheduling needs and we will make ever effort to accomodate you.

Deer and Turkey Hunts

Pheasant Ridge Kennel also offers daily turkey and deer hunts pending availability. Our membership has first priority.

 

Deer Hunts : We are in the northern zone of New York State. All NYSDEC laws apply. An article of blaze orange clothing is mandatory.

 

Spring Turkey Hunts: As with deer hunts all NYSDEC laws apply. A blaze orange ribbon is to be placed around the tree you are using as cover during your hunt and an article of blaze orange clothing is to be worn to and from your hunting grounds.

 

Rates:

 

Deer :  Archery  $175.00 Daily  or 5 Day Hunt $550.00

            Rifle       $225.00 Daily or 5 Day Hunt $950.00

 

Turkey: Spring only

                          100.00 Daily or 5 Day Hunt $400.00
